Race 4 – Quantum Racing On the Bounceback

Quantum Racing bounced back after their disappointing Coastal Race yesterday to secure a solid victory in Race 4 of the Sibenik 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week. With Platoon in fifth the regatta lead is cut to just one point. Onda finished third and so consolidate their third overall.

With the breeze around seven to eight knots, from a slightly more westerly direction, this time the right side was not as favoured. Quantum Racing started well once more and played it relatively conservatively up the first half of the beat before moving to control the starboard tack lay line and led around the top mark.
