Tables turned on Barcelona’s finale?

The forecast is not too promising for the final day of the Audi Sardinia Cup, the second regatta of the 52 SuperSeries.

If the Mistral abbreviated the start of the regatta with too much wind, then there is a feeling that the final day may struggle to get a finale under way.

I have to say I am not too optimistic. The forecasts show less than five knots until the afternoon, but three of four o’clock there might be a breeze to race, but the time limit for a warning signal is 1430hrs. So we wait ashore for a while and see what happens.

It is a turnaround on the situation in Barcelona where Audi Azzurra Sailing Team needed and wanted to race, Quantum Racing were content with the status quo.
This time the home team, the Audi Azzurra Sailing Team, would be reasonably happy for time to slip away in their favour, especially given than a light wind race off could be more random.

Audi Azzurra Sailing Team Stand by to wait.
