Race 7 – Provezza Win Penultimate Race and Take the Lead

Ergin Imre’s Provezza won Race 7 of the Menorca 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week to take the overall lead in the regatta going into the final race.

Tina Plattner led all the way on Phoenix 11 until the final run when Platoon took over, but Provezza pounced in the final third of the last run to steal their second win of the week. They lead Quantum and Platoon by three and two points respectively with just one race to sail.

Conditions were ideal, 13-15 knots from the north, with sunshine and clearing skies.

Racing at the Menorca 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week starts on Tuesday 21st May and finishes on Saturday 25th May. The boats can be tracked online or via the 52 SUPER SERIES app with live commentary and expert analysis throughout each race. Shows start 15 minutes before racing is due to begin.
