Race 4 – Sled Switch It On

Takashi Okura’s Sled team won the fourth race of the Puerto Portals 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week after leading around the first mark. Afterguard Hamish Pepper and Cameron Dunn conspired to call the best layline to the windward mark, building on a solid start.

Platoon made good gains on the first downwind to take second. Azzurra were shut out at the start line and then had to take a penalty after the start, but recovered to seventh. Regatta leaders Rán Racing lost from fifth at the first top mark when they overstood at the bottom gate dropping to the back.

Finishing eighth, they still lead the regatta by four points.
