Phoenix win Race 4

Following on the success of their football team in last night’s opening match of the FIFA world cup, Eduardo de Souza Ramos and his crew won Race 4 of the Audi 52 World Championship, after leading from the first turn.

Santi Lange, the double Olympic medal winner who is calling tactics for Phoenix, was quick to spot the left hand shift roll through midway up the beat and they were first of the top group to use it. Quantum Racing rounded second with Azzurra third. Atoning for a difficult 5th in Race 3, the home club crew were able to get down through Quantum Racing on the run, holding on for second. With Ran Racing fourth, Quantum Rcing lead by one point after four races.
