Azzurra make it two wins in a row at the EGNOS 52 SUPER SERIES Cascais Cup, completing a perfect opening day at the mouth of the Tagus River. In a light southerly breeze that shifted right at the top of the second beat. Azzurra called the first beat well after starting off the committee boat end of the start line and led Quantum Racing and Sled at the first top mark. Rán Racing made a nice move on the top of the second beat to earn third while Gladiator took four places down the last ran to finish fifth.
