Day One Completed, as Platoon Takes First Place in Race 2

Harm Müller Spreer’s Platoon team won the second race on the ria de Vigo after starting well and again working the right side of the course as Phoenix did in the first race. With the breeze built to 14kts Platoon led all the way around the course. The Whitcraft family crew on Vayu followed up their second place in Race 1 with another second place to share the overall lead with Phoenix. On tie break the South African crew top the table at the ABANCA 52 SUPER SERIES Baiona Sailing Week after finishing third in Race 2.
