CONGRATULATIONS to Luna Rossa for winning the 52 SUPER SERIES Zadar Royal Cup

Luna Rossa wins the 52 SUPER SERIES Zadar Royal Cup after finishing fifth in the final race of the second regatta of the 2018 52 SUPER SERIES. A good third place, chasing Sled across the finish line, is enough to give Phoenix second overall by virtue of tie break with Sled. The final race in Croatia was a thrilling nail biter, with Andy Soriano’s Alegre streaking away to a big win, their second race victory of the event.

Phoenix were fifth at the first top turn but made good downwind gains, working offshore in the stronger wind pressure on successive runs.

It is the first regatta win on the circuit for the Challengers of Record for the next America’s Cup, improving from their sixth last month in Sibenik.
