Good start for Sled in Race 8

Takashi Okura and his crew won Race 8 to take over third place on the Ford Vignale Valencia Sailing Week. It is Sled’s second win of the regatta. Quantum Racing composed their second third place in a row to continue their steady rise up the standings.

Sled lead to the top mark first time up, putting together a good start towards the pin end of the line to round and work the left flank of the course. Interlodge rounded second which they lost but regained on the second beat.
Ran’s fourth place -four places up on eighth placed Alegre – increases their regatta title challenge, halving their points gap of this morning.
