Second back-to-back win for Quantum Racing

Quantum Racing won Race 7 of the ABANCA 52 SUPER SERIES Baiona Sailing Week which was contested in a light 7-9kts of breeze from the NW. With Phoenix stealing second from Platoon on the second downwind leg the South African team claw back a point on the German double world champions who crossed third. That gives Quantum Racing a four points overall lead on the points table.
Quantum Racing started from the left of the pack and chased Platoon around the first mark but by holding to the right of the run they were able to pass their rivals on the downwind. That move also worked for Phoenix on the second run as they squeezed past Platoon for second.
An incident at the start with Sled saw Gladiator penalised three points whilst Sled are granted redress. Interlodge got fourth and move to fourth overall.
