Ran Racing snatched a thrilling Race 4

Ran Racing snatched a thrilling Race 4 victory from under the nose of Conde de Godo regatta. Tleaders Azzurra, surging across the finish line to win their first race of the event and close on second placed Quantum Racing which finished fourth behind Tony Langley’s Gladiator.

Both Azzurra and Gladiator lead at different times during the race, which was contested in a brísk 13-18kts of SSE’ly wind. They started side by side off the pin end of the start line. Ran Racing’s start was not so good, taking sterns off the line but they made a good recovery on the first beat. 0n the final run Ran rolled Gladiator and then passed Azzurra on the finish line.
