Rán makes it 2 out of 2

In perfect sea breeze conditions on the Bay of Palma Rán Racing won the second race for the 52 SUPER SERIES fleet at the 32nd Copa del Rey MAPFRE.

Niklas Zennström’s team were sharp enough off the start line to impose themselves early on Rio and Quantum Racing who they kept nicely in check around the track, showing good speed in the 12-13kts of SSWly wind.

Azzurra found themselves having to stage another fight back for the second race in a row after they were called OCS, having to re-start. Manouch Moshayedi’s Rio were second around the first lap but fell to Quantum Racing on the second beat, Rio taking third with Azzurra up to fourth.
