Race 6 – Azzurra Regain the Regatta Lead

Azzurra won Race 6 with a big margin to take the overall lead at the Puerto Sherry 52 SUPER SERIES Royal Cup. They made a solid if unspectacular start but got right early and really sailed the wind pressure best, making fewer tacks as the main pack tied each other up in the middle of the course. They led Provezza all the way around and with Bronenosec sliding to a fifth on the final run it is Azzurra who hold a one point lead over the Russian-flagged boat.

Racing at the Puerto Sherry 52 SUPER SERIES Royal Cup starts on Tuesday 18th June and finishes on Saturday 22nd June.
