Race 5 – Quantum Racing Lead at the Halfway Point

Quantum Racing won today’s 20-nautical-mile Coastal Race to extend their lead at the top of the leaderboard of the Rolex TP52 World Championship off Cascais. They are now seven points clear of Azzurra and Alegre who are both tied on 18 points. Quantum Racing had a well timed start in the middle of the line that allowed them to get to the right and sail a good layline to lead around the top mark, they were never challenged. Phoenix took second. Alegre were second early on but dropped to fourth.
