Race 4 – Bronenosec Closes Out the Day in Winning Form

With the breeze building to 16 knots to produce a great second race of the second day, Vladimir Liubomirov’s Bronenosec proved the value of a good start as they ran out winners of Race 4.

Bronenosec and Provezza made the best starts, regatta leaders Phoenix 11 were not able to hold their lane and had to tack right. At the top mark it was Bronenosec leading from Provezza with Azzurra third.

Provezza were forced to do a penalty turn at the top mark.

But with second place to Bronenosec and Phoenix 11 taking seventh, the 2019 champions Azzurra move into the regatta lead.
