Race 2 – Azzurra Win Provezza-Style

The Roemmers family’s Azzurra won the second race of the Puerto Sherry 52 SUPER SERIES Royal Cup after leading off the pin end of the start line, a repeat of the strategy that worked for Provezza in the first race of the regatta.

With the breeze having built very slightly, Azzurra led all the way around from Sled. Alegre were over the start line and could not recover. But, finishing fourth, Provezza lead the regatta from Azzurra.

Racing at the Puerto Sherry 52 SUPER SERIES Royal Cup starts on Tuesday 18th June and finishes on Saturday 22nd June.
