Quantum Racing win the ABANCA 52 SUPER SERIES Baiona Sailing Week by a margin of seven points when the final race of the series had to be abandoned because of a big wind shift. The American flagged team of Doug De Vos looked like they had given themselves an uphill battle, despite carrying a seven points margin, when they were over the start line. All the way round the first lap they were ninth and had only just taken a place when the race was abandoned. Platoon take second overall and Phoenix- who led the regatta’s early stages – finish third.
