Quantum Racing step clear at the top with two wins.

With two wins today, adding victory in a short coastal Race 4 to a comfortable win in Race 3, Quantum Racing have moved three points clear at the top of the Cascais Cup standings.

Azzurra keep their 2015 title firmly on track with two second finishes today.
The start was key to Quantum Racing’s coastal race win. They started neatly on the committee boat end of the start line and were able to tack immediately to lead up the right side of the two miles windward leg. Platoon rounded second and were second through the leeward gate but dropped on the long second beat to Cape Rasso, crossing the finish in sixth.
Vesper worked well throughout the race only losing to Azzurra on the long final run but third keeps Jim Swartz team third overall on the regatta scoreboard
