Quantum Racing move clear

Quantum Racing did their challenge for the second 52 SUPER SERIES title a power of good when they won the day’s second race today at the ZENITH Royal Cup Marina Ibiza but their points advantage at the top of the season standings is enhanced still further as Rán Racing finished fifth and Azzurra sixth.

Quantum Racing lead around the first mark from Rán Racing but the breeze favoured the left, inshore line downwind allowing Gaastra Pro to get up to second and Gladiator third. Terry Hutchinson and the Quantum Racing afterguard did good work to stay with this change and
managed to win comfortably, now leading the regatta by eight points from Azzzurra while Sled now hold third overall ahead of Rán Racing by one point.
