Hotter, Lighter?

The forecast is for lighter winds and even hotter daytime temperatures for the second day of the TP52 World Championships Puerto Portals. After two races Platoon leads by a single point from Sled with three boats two points behind. Quantum Racing, defending world champions, lie in seventh place and need a couple of good, counting results today. Project manager Ed Reynolds confirms the team have debriefed yesterday’s 11th and their taking a penalty for the first time in four years, and says the team will be focused on trying to keep things simple on board, not trying to play too clever seekign a big comeback if they are deep early on.

Always it is about focusing on the boat in front and chipping away, keeping it tight and waiting for opportunitis as others make mistakes.
