The finale to the season takes us to Menorca in September. Menorca, one of two new venues for the 2016 season quickly won a place in the hearts of the fleet owing to its picturesque landscape, relaxed atmosphere and great food.

Menorca 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week
Event Results & Overall RankingThe 52 SUPER SERIES returns to the popular, friendly venue of Mahón, Menorca for the fourth time since the class first visited in 2016 for the Rolex TP52 World Championship. The class visited in 2017 and 2019 and each time the island’s waters has offered a good variety of racing conditions and a warm welcome ashore in the historic port.
The compact venue – the fleet are berthed in the marina directly across the road from the Club Maritimo de Mahón – ensures that the mood is always upbeat whilst the open-water and accessible race area is always challenging and much less predictable than, say, Palma. Often the short choppy seas can have an influence on racing.
Ashore the historic city borders the huge natural harbour that is said to be one of the biggest in the world. The architecture is a wonderful mix of colonial buildings reflecting the strong English influence, and old, pretty churches. The passage out to the race course is dotted with small islands. There are great hotels close to the race dock and the waterfront road is dotted with dozens of excellent small restaurants and bars.
