With the race area moved slightly east, closer to the Tejo river mouth where the is better wind pressure is, Azzurra read the course best, taking a decisive lead on the first run to win Race 5 of the EGNOS 52 SUPER SERIES Cascais Cup. They were ahead of Sled around the remainder of the course and so seize the overall regatta lead. Provezza’s third with Rán Racing ninth moves Ergin Imre’s team to third overall on the season standings two points ahead.

Sled now move into second place overall for this regatta.
