Azzurra win the world championship with a race to spare

The Roemmers’ family’s Azzurra clinched the 2015 TP52 World Championship title with a race to spare when they finished Race 9 on the Bay of Palma with a fifth place and Quantum Racing in sixth.

Azzurra lead by 15pts going into the final race.
Provezza lead at the top mark, Azzurra making their key move when they threaded themselves Paprec and Sled to hold fourth with Quantum Racing four places back. Alegre hit the front on the second upwind as the breeze shifted and built from the left but Provezza pipped them for the win on the finish line.
