2016 Puerto Portals Sailing Week – Race 9 Summary

Bronenosec won the penultimate race of the Puerto Portals Sailing Week regatta for the 52 SUPER SERIES to enhance their claim to second overall, but with a second place finish, Quantum Racing are assured of their third regatta title in a row.

Bronenosec started best one third up from the pin and were quickly able to control the boats to their left. Quantum were not so good off the line but chipped away from fourth to second, passing Rán up the second beat. Azzurra started poorly and damaged their chances of second overall.
