2016 52 World Championship – Race 1 Summary

Azzurra made the best possible start to their world championship defence when they won the opening race of the 52 World Championship in 12-17kt SW breezes and lumpy seas off Mahón, Menorca.

Gladiator picked the right side of the first beat and led at the top mark from Paprec. Quantum Racing pulled through the fleet from a poor start, to finish second with Paprec third and Gladiator fourth.
