EGNOS 52 SUPER SERIES Cascais Cup – Race 1 Summary

Azzurra win Race 1 of the EGNOS 52 SUPER SERIES Cascais Cup after leading all the way around the course. Takashi Okura’s sled took second place while Quantum Racing pressed Provezza across the finish line but Ergin Imre’s team held on for third. Racing in a modest 7 to 10kts of southerly breeze, Azzurra started best off the pin end of the start line and led Sled around the top mark. Phoenix started early and had to recross the line. Quantum Racing with Doug DeVos steering remained solid in fourth and nearly stole third on the last run.
