Race 7 – Bronenosec Tame the Cape Doctor

As the Cape Doctor – the strong local SEly wind – came in big and strong, Vladimir Liubomirov’s Bronenosec won Race 7 of the Odzala Discovery Camps 52 SUPER SERIES V&A Waterfront – Cape Town regatta.

Andy Soriano’s Alegre led early on in the race but Bronenosec made their move on the first downwind and lead through the leeward gate.

As the breeze picked up to 25kts, Bronenosec finished first, Quantum Racing second and Tina Plattner’s Phoenix 12 third. In fourth, Phoenix 11 pull back three points on Azzurra’s leading margin, which stands at seven points going into the final day of racing.
