Race 2 – Gladiator’s First Win Since Porto Cervo

Luna Rossa go from strength to strength at the Zadar Royal Cup as a second place in Race 2 sees the iconic Italian team lead overall after Day 1 of the regatta. With Francesco Bruni making another strong start off the left, pin end of the start line and then consolidating early enough as the right came in strong, they were able to chase early leaders Gladiator around the top mark. While Tony Langley’s team scored their first win since Porto Cervo last year to lie second overall, Luna Rossa are six points clear at the top of the Zadar Royal Cup standings.
