Race 1 – Platoon Draws First Blood in Portals

Harm Müller-Spreer’s Platoon won the first race of the Puerto Portals 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week after leading all the way around the course from the first mark.

Their start was not their best in the seven-knots sea breeze, but they were one of the first to the right and gained the favourable wind shift and pressure ahead of Alegre, Quantum Racing, and Provezza. After lying second around most of the second lap, Alegre ceded second to Quantum Racing just before the finish.
