First Blood

Andy Soriano and the Alegre took first blood of the 2015 52 SUPER SEASON when they comfortably won Race 1 of Ford Vignale Valencia Sailing Week.

With John Kostecki calling tactics for owner driver Soriano they were off the start line near the pin end or the start line and able to benefit on the left side upwind. They lead at the windward turn and were never challenged. Ran Racing took second with Harm Muller Spreer in third. Starting well was key in the 9 to 12 kts NE’ly breeze which offered a few useful wind shifts.
