Azzurra completed a crucial gun to gun victory

Azzurra completed a crucial gun to gun victory in the final race of the Audi Settimana del Bocche regatta to win the final regatta of the 52 SUPER SERIES season and deny 2013 champions Quantum Racing the clean sweep of all four European regattas.

Quantum Racing and Ran Racing crossed the start line early and had to restart leaving Azzurra to control the fleet from the pin end of the start.

After a long delay, racing started in a brisk NWly and confused, bouncy seas.
Quantum Racing finished second across the line and will look forwards to their celebrations, ready to be crowned 2013 52 SUPER SERIES champions, winning the overall title by a substantial points margin.
