2016 52 World Championship – Race 4 Summary

Azzurra won the first coastal race of the 52 World Championship but with a second place, Quantum Racing complete an excellent day stepping further clear on the top of the leaderboard.

Platoon led on the first short windward-leeward circuit but Azzurra took the lead which they held onto despite moments of pressure from Quantum, who gained places down the second run – a seven miles leg past the entrance to Mahón. Gladiator lost third to Sled on the final half mile to the finish.
